What the service does
You can enter an English phrase and receive a matching Mandarin Chinese phrase, simplified and traditional Chinese where available, pronunciation notes, and an English-friendly pronunciation guide.
How to use the guidance
The pronunciation guide is designed for language learning and everyday practice. It is not a certified translation service, legal translation service, medical translation service, or substitute for a qualified language instructor.
How the learning content is made
Our guides start with a learner question, then explain the pronunciation or grammar pattern behind the answer. Examples are included to show when a phrase is natural, formal, casual, or easy to misunderstand. The guides are intended to be useful on their own; the translator is a practice tool, not the only source of information.
Editorial standards
We write and review lessons for beginner English speakers, using standard Mandarin examples and Pinyin with tone marks. Each published guide is checked for clear explanations, complete example translations, and notes about register or common learner mistakes. We do not publish automatically generated pages as learning advice.
Language varies by region and situation, so a guide may describe more than one natural option. When a point is uncertain or context-dependent, we say so instead of presenting one wording as universally correct.
Accuracy and improvements
Language can vary by context, region, and tone. We review phrase coverage and pronunciation notes over time, and some searches may be logged so the phrase library can be improved. English-friendly pronunciation hints are approximations, so learners should use the Chinese characters, Pinyin, and audio together.
